Photo Effects Prototyping

Developed a touch-based photo effects prototype UI for usability and market research purposes for a non-disclosable digital camera company. Flex and Adobe AIR proved the perfect fit for the task of quickly crafting a standalone UI while easily integrating with Adobe's powerful Pixel Bender real-time effects engine.

Wii Flash Lite API

First utilized by the BBC for their popular iPlayer, the Video On-Demand Framework (VODF) Flash Lite API enables official partners to build Wii Channels using ActionScript 2 and Flash. Utmost attention was paid to class simplicity and extensibility, including building a robust, AS3 inspired event model. All source was meticulously documented and beautifully formatted.

Johnny Kapahala Official Site
Disney Channel

Created to coincide with the premiere of the Disney Channel original movie, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board. Site features a dynamic video and photo viewer, sections with multiple levels of content and animations, and a phased section loader. All site copy is localizable and editable through XML with HTML styling—including all button captions, headers and titles. This site was built upon an established framework for Flash sites, with many customizations applied.

Kooky Kostume / Disco Dancin’ Wubbzy

Developed two cute preschooler mini-games which were released alongside a new line of Wubbzy toys. In Kooky Kostume Kreator, kids can dress up Wubbzy then print their wacky fashions. Disco Dancin’ Wubbzy is a color pattern matching game – think Simon meets Rock Band. Games were built in ActionScript 2 and were well within budget and timeline. Chad’s Splash & Smash

One in a series of mini games for the mega popular High School Musical franchise, you control Chad in a game of water volleyball against Troy. Keep the ball in volley long enough to build up spike power and give it all you’ve got!
Game makes use of basic AI, hit detection, deflection, physics (co-developed with another developer) and camera panning.
